About NeraGreen

Environmental action should be open, grounded, and connected to people.

NeraGreen Indonesia is a youth-driven environmental organization that connects schools, communities, volunteers, local areas, and partners through practical sustainability education and field-based action.

We do not see people only as participants in an event. We see students, youth, communities, educators, institutions, and local actors as part of the process that makes environmental action easier to learn, join, continue, and measure.

Who We Are

A movement that invites more people into environmental work.

NeraGreen works across schools, communities, planting areas, and partnership spaces so environmental action can be understood, joined, documented, and continued by more people.

Founded to build action that stays close to the ground.

NeraGreen was built to connect young people, communities, schools, and partners through environmental work that is participatory, practical, and rooted in local needs. Our role is not to make action look bigger than it is, but to make it more useful, inclusive, and traceable.

NeraGreen youth and volunteer participation

Everyone has a way to contribute.

Students can learn. Youth can lead and volunteer. Communities can share local knowledge. Schools can become learning spaces. Partners can support implementation. NeraGreen connects those roles into one movement so environmental action does not depend on one group alone.

Where the Work Happens

Different spaces, connected by participation.

Each space needs a different approach. NeraGreen connects education, field implementation, facilitation, community engagement, and partnership into one working ecosystem.

NeraGreen school environmental education activity
School Education

Environmental learning starts closer to students.

Schools become learning spaces where students can understand sustainability through direct, practical, and age-relevant activities.

NeraGreen tree planting activity
Tree Planting

Planting is not only a ceremony.

Tree planting is connected with location needs, community context, documentation, monitoring, and follow-up care.
